New Dying Kingdoms Website

September 23, 2008 12:42 am

As of early this morning, Tuesday September 23, Dying Kingdoms is unveiling the first iteration of its new website.  The ultimate goal is to unite all of our online services into one system, and create a consistent place to go for all things Dying Kingdoms.

Features at this release:

  • New layout and site design
  • An easier to navigate photo gallery of our most recent events.
  • A first attempt at an event sign-up system: Sign up for our next event.

Coming very soon, in the next few weeks:

  • User signup with limited character management.
  • Email subscription to event updates, news, download postings and more.
  • Out of Character forum and In Character forum with brand new uses for the Literacy and Etiquette skills.
  • Upload your own photos to event galleries.

And the most interesting things in development are a bit further off.  We will be gradually moving to an online character creation and management system.  This will allow you to:

  • Build a starting character using drag and drop skill selection
  • Monitor your character point totals, buy new skills and qualify for advanced skills and abilities.
  • On demand access to character specific downloads, (ie Culture packets, lore sheets, etc)
  • and more
