Years of growing conflict with the Stealer of Dreams have led at last to this precipice — the confrontation not just with the necromancer-king himself, but with his servitors, his magic and his social order. The Ikhten council still struggles with its place as a body of law and government, barely able to keep a cohesive order between nomadic tribes, while other nations ignore the brewing storm over the western sands.What was buried centuries ago has returned.
