There’s gold in them thar hills! And monsters! And warlords! And ancient treasures!

The sleepy little town of Last Haven has struck gold in the rivers that are it’s lifeblood. Heroes and mundane travelers alike from far and wide are preparing to flock to get their piece of the action, disrupting the water and the earth in their frantic search for wealth. The town is split between those who want civilization to come to them at last, welcoming the influx of free and fast cash; and those who want to stay tied to the land and their customs, while rejecting the outside world. There are rumors of terrible monsters in the forest, and packs of dreadful and fierce beasts roam the surrounding wilderness. Horrible stories circulate of a warlord that has been ravaging nearby towns, seeking a map to an enormous treasure trove, leaving no stone unturned and razing every village in his path. It’s only a matter of time before he searches in this village.

Incredibly mighty and supernatural forces are struggling against each other behind the scenes, each with their own agenda. The stakes are high as they battle for powerful ancient artifacts, control over the land and the will of its people – even, according to whispered rumors, the heart of a woman!

Shrouding all this is the mystery… What, if anything, is keeping this small town safe in the middle of such chaos? Could Last Haven be harboring a powerful and terrible secret or is some greater power watching over this sleepy little place?
